Ministry Center Underway C edarv ille College has begun construction on a 120,000 square-foot Ministry Center, which will include new faci lities for the Chapel, the Department of Music, and the Christian Ministries Department. At a praise service held May 22, Dr. Dixon introduced representatives from the Danis Company of Dayton, Ohio, which has been awarded the building contract. The Ministry Center is sched uled to be completed and in use by Fall 1996. Site work for the new building began immediately upon trustee approval of the $15 million project. To date, the College has announced over $7 million in gifts and commitments in the Ministry Center Campaign. Daily chapel services are the heartbeat of Cedarville College. Some students, faculty, and staff will continue to attend chapel services in three remote video auditoriums during the 1995-96 school year. The new Chapel will bring them all together in a 3,400 seat auditorium which can be expanded to seat 4,000. Excellent lighting, acoustics, video enhancement, and sound reinforcement will make it an appropriate site for daily chapel services as well as concerts, artist series programs, conferences, convocations, and commencement. CedarNet Continues To Permeate Campus C edarNet, Cedarville's campuswide computer network, continues to be an integral part of campus life. Cedarville has also opened its world wide web (WWW) pages on the Internet, allowing computer users anywhere in the world to browse through infonnation about the College.
