! I l l I J I What are those things which you have given up in order to more adequately serve the Living God? If you cannot identify them, then you are experiencing a Convenient Christianity. The demands of biblical Christianity stand in contrast to those of Convenient Christianity. Rather than lacking reality, biblical Christianity is founded on the reality of God's Word, the manifestation of His only begotten Son, and His redemptive work on Calvary. In contrast to a lack of standards, biblical Christianity demands adherence to those fundamental behaviors which mark the true believer. And, in contrast to a lack of sacrifice, biblical Christianity demands the greatest sacrifice we can offer.. .our "bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.. .." Is that the kind of Christianity you are living today or have you settled into the comfort zone of a Convenient Christianity? .IJ D r. Paul Dixon has been president of Cedarville College since 1978.
