Soon we can hear the rattling of silverware and china. Then it seems to get a little more quiet, for all are partaking of the good and substantial food, prepared by our friendly and cheerful cook, Jennie Hamilton, under the supervision of Mrs. Morton. Approximately'fifty students eat here every day. Each year the club elects a student to be steward for the following year, so last year the duties were given to Carl Frazier. Many a dollar and penny he collects and then tends to the paying of the numerous bills. The club is situated in the basement of the Library and has three rooms, a waiting room, dining room, and kitchen. The club is not only a place for eating purposes but here we get to meet new acquain- ances and become more closely connected with our friends.
