McChesney sat on one end of a log And I sat on the other. McChesney came as a pedagogue And taught as an elder brother. I don't care what McChesney taught— Though he knew the things that I judged he ought— For I thought, thought I, All through lecture time and quizz, - The kind of a man I mean to be Is the kind of a man McChesney is!
