1934 Cedrus Yearbook

Cedarville College's depart- ment of science was originally located in the rooms now oc- cupied by Prof. Steele and Prof. Ault. In 1909, the par- tition in the second-story room was removed to provide a combination laboratory and recitation room. Here the sci- ence department had its head- quarters until the fall of 1923. when the new science building was ready for occupancy. This fine new building, equipped with complete modern apparatus, has been the delight of the instructors and as- piring young scientists. The basement and first floor contain the chemistry and physics laboratories and class rooms. On the second floor are located the botany and zoology laboratories and classrooms. This year has seen the addition of an adequate library devoted to the inter- ests of the department of education. Page Thirteen
