When the college was first organized there was no fine building such as this known as the library. Thee was a room set aside in the Main Hall for a library, but this proved to be too small for increasing number of books. Page fourteen — 4 z • ,1" Cedarville College was for- tunate in being the recipient of a gift of twelve thousand dollars from Andrew Car- negie, from which was built the college library in 1905. The village and college li- braries have been combined, and new volumes are being added as needed. The first floor contains the library and the department of music.
