1936 Cedrus Yearbook

The Girls' Glee Club has accomplished many worthwhile things during this year under the di- rection of Mrs. Margaret J. Work. In the fall, the Glee Club, assisted by the Girls' Quartette, broad- casted over Station WHIO in Dayton. During the year we have given religious programs at the 0. S. and S.0. Home in Xenia, at the Methodist Church in Piqua, at the United Presbyterian Church in Xe- nia, and in Clifton. Miller, McKenzie, Kim b 1 e, Anderson, Ritenour Porter, K. Miller, Wones, Mrs. Work. year's work during Commencement Week and in the Spring Recital. In addition to their group activities, each mem- ber has derived a greater appreciation of good music, and a fine spirit of cooperation during the school year. The girls of the Glee Club wish to thank Mrs. Work for her work and her patience. We are also grateful to Dr. Mac Chesney, to the drivers of the cars, and to all who made this year possible. ORANGE AND BLUE SERENADERS This year the Girls' Quartette presented pro- grams at various club meetings in Cedarville and has accompanied the Glee Club to Piqua, Xenia, and Dayton.
