Although past editions were consulted, the staff attempted to modernize the book and produce one "new and different." Every step was care- fully considered in the light of journalistic value, entertain- ment merit, and economic advantage. It is the sincere de- sire of all those who have worked on this annual that it shall be a storehouse of memories to be appreciated in the future.
