. . . 21 years a Baptist Liberal-Arts college with a well-defined purpose. Now,as many other schools across the nation are on the decline, we find our- selves excelling in every area ... which is shown in the fact ofour recent accreditation. How is it that we have seen prosperity in a time when it is so rare? Well,by the Grace ofGod we've been able to stick to our founding principles. That foundation is stated in our college motto,"For the Word ofGod and the Testimony ofJesus Christ." Critics may claim such a world and life view is obsolete, but in reality it is vitally relevant to everyone. Christianity in its true form is not a reli- gion,it is Truth oflife. Jesus Christ said,"I am the Way,the Truth,and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me."God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself,not imputing their trespasses unto them. Belief,then,on Christ is the key. Romans 10:9 says,"That ifthou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead,thou shalt be saved."
