1981 Miracle Yearbook

FACULTY MEMBER OF THE YEAR David Matson humbly accepted the Faculty of the Year Award amidst the applause of the Cedarville College family. Years of schooling and service went behind that honor. A B.A. from Cedarville, an M.A.and a Ph.D.from Ohio State as well as sixteen years on Cedarville's faculty make him a superior candidate for the award. Dr. Matson takes his work as Music instructor and department chairman very seriously but even more so his work as God's servant. David Matson's testimony is one of love for the Lord and a desire to serve Him in all areas of his life. The college family can be truly thankful for such a man of God. STAFF MEMBER OF THE YEAR Harold Green,campus pastor and director of Christian service was named Staff Mem- ber of the Year for 1980-81. Pastor Green (affectionately known as P.G.) came to Cedarville eleven years ago having promise of little or no support from a skeptical student body. Since then his efforts have brought about an expansion in the Christian Service Department staff and ministries and greater support from an enthusiastic stu- dent body. Many extension teams and traveling groups go out representing the Lord and Cedarville College under his direction. God has richly blessed Cedarville College in and through the person of Harold Green. 162 FACULTY/STAFF
