OPENING Reflections Of May "Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun." Ecclesiastes 11:7 Spring fever hit the campus with the arrival of May. The weather was warm and beautiful. Asthe school year came to a close, students had to divide their time between fun in the sun and preparing for finals. Seniors turned their thoughts to graduation, while the underclassmen anxiously looked for- ward to the summer break. Honors Day and the Junior-Senior Banquet were two of the highlights for the month as well as Cedar Day. For most students, the month of May was the beginning of the end. It was a time to finish out the year, and to look forward to the future. ThisPage,Above: Linda Hess reads her mail as the rest of the crowd works their way into the post office.
