SPECIAL EVENTS Chapel Speakers Chapelspeakers not only expounded God's Word, but they also uplifted the lives of stu- dents. The daily chapel services meant different things to different people. To some it was a needed break from the stress of a rigorous schedule to be quiet before God.Others saw it as a time of stimulation and challenge as the principles of God's Word were expounded and applied to our daily Christian lives. The chapelspeakers played a vital role in the lives of the students whether it was President Dixon's weekly address to the college family, or a special holiday chapel, or one of the many guestspeakers. Each one of the individual speakers had a special message designated to uplift and challenge our hearts. The college seeks to provide a variety of speakers by calling on evangelists, pastors, faculty members, missionaries, and professional people.
