1984 Miracle Yearbook

WOff11:j@d2, D©im&cpm A y first year asa Head Resident has F.1 been a challenging, rewarding id learning experience. I ap- °ached the job with some appre- )nsion, but I was confident that the )rd had provided this opportunity for e and I willingly accepted the posi- )n. The young ladies in Faith Hall have acome very speical to me.We have lared the highsand lows, the suc- asses and failures, the joys and sor- Iws. Through it all, God has greatly blessed. My life has been enriched by the relationshipsformed with the wom- en in the dorm. A life changing lesson for me has been how to handle authority in a bibli- cal way. The basis for authority is rela- tional. God has shown me that my re- lationship with the women as Head Resident is one thing, but the greater relationship with them is theirs in Christ. God has given me this position with its responsibilities and authority to serve Faith Hall Printy Hall my sisters, not to lord over them. Looking forward to next year, I de- sire that God will use me as an instru- ment of encouragement, edification and comfort in the lives of the women in Faith. I also seek to enter the new term with a learner's attitude, looking to be more conformed to the image of my Lord Jesus Christ. by Pat Farrow Pat Farrow Head Resident — Faith Mrs. Agnes Howell Head Resident — Printy Dormitories 127
