A BROAD PERSPECTIVE Jim Jacobs believes one of the most valuable lessons he's learned as a student body president was the impor- tance of viewing life with a broader perspective. Ile be- lieves a broader view can help a person see past his immediate obstacles to his end goal. After his graduation from Cedarville, Jacobs planned to attend Medical School at Ohio University, then work as a general practitioner in a cozy suburb. "Doctors in a smaller community have the flexibility to be involved in a local church," he said. "And I'd like to travel as a short term medical missionary." A favorite winter quarter activity was playing ice hockey on the lake.
