1989 Miracle Yearbook

The baseball team was under the new leadership of Pete Reese this season. Reese has spent the last 23 years on the west coast at Los Angeles Baptist Col- lege and the Master's College. With 9 players returning from the last year, the Yellow Jackets saw many improvements. Shane Hardy, the team captain, had an- other great season as a hitter with the highest batting average of .382 and as a pitcher with an earned run average of 2.87. Shane was also named to the NCCAA all-conference team. With the majority of the players returning next year, Cedarville will provide some pretty stiff competition.
