Parents eagerly find a spot up front to snap a photo of their graduating sons or daughters. photo by Jesse Wesselink Graduation Day 11 Saturday, June 1st was not only the beginning of a new month, but also it ended a four year journey and began a new life for the graduating class of Cedarville College. The ceremony began at 10:00 a.m. with the entrance of the graduates. After the in- vocation,the Concert Chorale sang two special pieces. Dr. Dixon then presented the an- nual commencement address which was founded in the class verse, Isaiah 41:10. Another important aspect of the graduation ceremony is photo by Jesse Wesselink Dr. Dixon gives a word of encouragement to graduates as he presents their diplomas. the presentation of the senior class gift. This year's gift, pre- sented to Dr. Dixon by class president Randy Oswald, consisted of money to be put toward the new E.M.S. am- bulance and garage. Follow- ing this presentation Matthew Benefiel sang the class song "Whatever You Ask." At the conclusion of the ceremony,the new graduates met on the lawn in front of the A.C. to say goodbye to their college career and begin a new phase of life. — Amy Edwards Senior 171
