• - •'0,. , The Morning Rush photo by Jesse Wesselink No time for posing as these students rush to their 8 o'clock classes. Snooze alarms and 8 a.m. classes combine to form some- thing Cedarville would otherwise lack---rush hour. The Ville's rush hour does notinclude cars stopping in bumper-to-bumper traffic but students rushing to make it on time to the 8 o'clock. Atsome point in our college career we learned that it is O.K. to be late for an 8 a.m. class; however, we still insist on rushing.Professors understand thatsome of us sleep so sound- ly that we subconsciously continue to hit the snooze alarm until 7:45 a.m.,causing a 1-2 minute tardiness to their classes. They also understand that students have difficulty getting up and ready with such a class as Old Testament Survey as the only motivation. But these are not the only causes of "The Morning Rush." Leaving the room at 7:58 a.m. to run to class also causes congested sidewalks and roads (if driving). The 8 a.m. class is definitely a college necessity. We have to learn to get up that early atsome pointin our lives,so why not do it while we are young and full of energy---and won't get fired for being late. — Amy Edwards Trimble, Kim Vibbert, Karen VanMatre,Edina Vibbert, Karen Waddell,Snadra Wafford, Greg Wakefield, Mike Walborn,Tim Wallace, Melinda Walling,Jennifer Watson,Keith Weber,David Weber,Paula Webster, Theresa Welch,Aaron Wesselink, Jesse Whalen,Amy White,Kim White, Matt
