1991 Miracle Yearbook

... And Then the Miracles Merged To merge, according to Web- ster,is"to come together so as to form one." Every student at Cedarville represents a miracle, or to be more precise, many mir- acles. It is when these miracles come together to form one that the special life at Cedarville be- gins. Students unite in ministry as they seek to win the lost in sur- rounding communitiesor as they sing in one voice in praise to their God. Many ministry teams do nothing more than try to be a help to the helpless as they minister in hospitals or nursing homes. Other teams come together to teach children what it means to be a Christian. Students unite in competition as they play on one of the many sports teams at Cedarville or as they give a show of spirit and support from the stands. Students unite in learning as they engage in open dialogue and debate in the classroom and in the dorms. Students unite in friendship as the many activites, organiza- tions, and even hours spent hanging around the dorm rooms provide a setting for countless memories to be made. In every area of life at Cedarville College, any onlook- er can see students who are "coming together" for a com- mon purpose — the glory of the Lord. — Jesse Wesselink Opening 5
