Seizing Opportunities .. Beyond Cedarville The decision bythe collegeand MISto hire a full-time MIS director was signifi- cantand indicatesthe increased impor- tance Cedarville College is placing on missions in a day when mission organiza- tionsarefeeling the effects ofinsufficient volunteers to meet the increased de- mands of es- tablished and new ministries. Not only has Gary Fowler, the MIS direc- tor, been able totakeoverthe administrative load, but more importantly,he has been able to have a greater impact on the student body in regards to missions by spending a good dealoftime in one-on-onecontacts. This has been beneficial in both increasing interest in missionsand in thefollow-up of hose who have made decisions and hose returning from an MIS experience. It is this in-depth approach thatwe hope 'II encourage more students to con- ider committing themselves to full time mission service. MIS is seeking to broaden its scope and promote tentmaking as an added avenue of missionary service available oourstudents. Numerousstudentshave indicated their desiretoinvesttheirskills in tentmaking type mission ministry. To encourage this,we are bringing a repre- sentativefrom World WideTentmakersto campus to speak to both our students andfaculty. Bydoing this, wehopeto be able to better integrate tentmaking into our college program. All in all, we are rejoicing and praising he Lord for all that He is doing and are rusting Him todoeven greaterthingsfor missions through us as we encourage and challenge ouryoung peopletotake an active part in the ministry. •Gary Fowler )0414% 4944%4 50 Ministries WHATEVERYOU ASK!TheEnglandteam committed themselves to do whatever God asks of them. • • LOVE,JOY,...
