No, they did not assemble to scuba dive nor to explore;theyassembledtoenjoyseafood,com- edy,andeach otherasthey celebratedHome- coming1991. The "sea"was Chuck's cafete- ria,transformedintoan underwaterfantasy- land, "Isle Atlantis." This themepenetrated the decorating to the extent that goldfish swamaroundinglassbowlsunderneath beau- tifid flower arrangements. As an added WHILECOMEDIAN STEVE GEYER PERFORMS, Cedarville students relax during the banquet. WITHA PEARL DROPSMILE,Susan Beach shows her enthusiasm while Shelly Sutton looks on. 69 Student Life bonus, one person sitting at each table re- ceived this centerpiece to keep as a living memoir ofthe evening. Gwyne Davies and Matt Moore set the stagefortheeveningbyunfoldingtheintriging myth behind the "Isle Atlantis"theme. Stu- dentbodychaplainPaulAnderson thenledin prayer before the meal, which included sea- food, mixed vegetables, rice, boneless chicken breast, hush puppies and dessert. Oneofthehighlightsoftheeveningwasthe processionandintroduction oftheHomecom- ing court, culminating with the crowningof the 1991 Homecoming queen, Kelly Scott. The Grand Marshallfor this year's Home- comingfestivities, Dr. David Matson, was also introducedandaskedtosayafew words. Finally,Christian comedianSteveGeyertook the stage.
