The host for the evening was Mr. Jon Purple who kept things rolling with various trivia questions about Dr.Dixon, as well as introducing each act. The first halfofthe show was specifically designed to be the more serious; after a brief intermission, the tone of the whole production was increasingly lighter. Each act was in competition with the others for a series ofcash prizes given to the best serious act and comedy act, based upon the audience's popular votes. Refreshments were available before,during and after the show.The audience enjoyed themselves immensely.
