Y•0•U•T•H M•I•N•I•S•T•R•I•E•S COMMUNITY MINISTRIES 1st Airborne,also known as Dayton Children's Min- istry, travels to Parkside (Dayton's Projects) every Saturdayandspendsseveralhourswiththechildren living there. The activities include everything from songs and stories to coloring and ping pong. The children look forward to seeing the team members and willoften ask wheresomeoneisifheorsheis not there.Theteam rejoices thata ten-year-old girl made a decision for salvation only a few weeks after they began going to Parkside. The name "1st Airborne" comesfrom IThessalonians4:17whichsayswe"will becaughtuptogetherwiththeminthecloudstomeet theLord in the air."Theteam prays thatasa resultof thisministry,manymorechildren willjointhosewho will be airborne when Christ returns. 1st Airborne \ Front row:Pearl Huber,Janet Bonga,Jennifer Butler. Individuals involved in the Bible Clubs ministryseek to reach out with the Gospel to youngsters in the area. They meet with area children after school one day a week for Bible sto- ries, songs, games, and snacks.
