rtist S eries Mantoyani Wishes Us a Merry Christmas Applause thundered through the James T. Jeremiah Chapel as the orchestra, chorus and the first violinist came up to the stage followed by the conductor. Assuddenly as the applause began, the audience became silent. From this pointforward, theevening was pure enjoyment. The songs were de- lightfulcheerymelodiesthatrecalled memo- ries of bygone years. They sparkled the imagination with thoughts ofSanta's work- shop, toys playing, hours dancing, and couples waltzing across thefloor. All ofthe music was well played and well orches- trated. Toosoon, the evening wasover, but those presentwereleftwith mindsfullofthe enjoymentofmusic. •Jennifer Henry WITH GREAT MUSICAL ABILITY Jeffrey Siegel uses the piano to minister.
