"Cedar what?!"Thatquestion,which haunts all Cedarvillians,hasbecome the theme ofa mock election held on ourcampuseveryfour yearsinhonor (ordishonor)ofthenationalelections. Lest I be accused of journalistic one- sidedness,I shall turn the rest of this article over to the candidates.(Lest you forget though,the Purple Party destroyed their competition!) The CedarWhat? campaign was a great example of a microcosm of the national election.It wasfun to watch normally thinking, responsible people turn into mindless followers ofone party or the other.I'm looking forward to a long vacation,now that the election is over.- Dr.Jim Colman, defeated CedarWhat? candidate The opportunity to run in the CedarWhat? election as the candi- dates for the PARTY!PARTY! was a once-in-a-lifetimeexperience(mean- ing we'd never doit again)!Wehad a greattime working with thestudents in our campaign. Their encourage- ment and support, which included Tyler Thompson painting his truck purple, made it all worthwhile.
