Earth Stewardship While faced with ecological and social issues, members of the Earth Stewardship Organi- zation attemptto recognizethe intrinsic value of creation. De- votionals and social activities such as volunteer work, inter- campusforums,and article re- views are all placed under the rubricofstewardship. Howcan we go beyond managing,and instead live along with what God has created? Phi Epsilon Beta The members of Phi Epsi- lon Beta focus their ministry on the New Beginnings crisis pregnancy center in Xenia. The women of this organiza- tion do everything from help- ing with remodeling work at the center to working as re- ceptionists or directly inter- acting with the women who come to the center for help. Besidesthe time they have to get to know one another in biweekly meetings and on quarterly retreats, they feel the most rewarding aspect of their ministry isthetimespent interacting and counseling with the women atthe center. SAE Students in engineering have the opportunity to be in- volved in the student chapter ofthe Dayton ChapterofSAE, the Society of Automotive En- gineers. Every month there are seminarson current engi- neering advancements that both studentsand professional engineers attend. This gives thestudentsachance notonly to learn more about their fu- ture profession butalsoto talk to other engineers in thearea. Members are encouraged to participate in one of many projects, including the Super Mileagecontest,the Aero-De- signteam,the Mini-Bahacom- petition, and Robotics.
