Cedarville College Republicans Cedarville College Republican Society is dedicated to inform- ing the college family aboutthe political process. The Society provides a forum for political thought, keeping the student bodyawareof political issuesin the state of Ohio as well as issues that affect our nation. In achieving this goal,the society endeavors to bring debate and Christian politicians to the Ce- darville campus. Spanish Club The Spanish Club offers an op- portunity to speak Spanish and havefun inarelaxing atmosphere. Members do not need to be a native speaker or Spanish major in order to enjoy practicing con- versational Spanish. This year activities included an ice-cream social, holiday parties,a visit with Spanish speaking missionaries, and a trip to a school in which classes are taught entirely in Spanish. Theta Pho Epsilon In its first two years as a men's social organization, OPE has been involved in numerous ser- vice projects. These projects in- clude such things as a "Service Auction and Beauty Contest" during Barney's Week, raising money for the Baptist Children's Home and setting up for the Michael Card and Steven Curtis Chapman concerts. OPE mem- ber Paul McGrady describes the goal of the organization: "As individuals and as a group, we strive to do our best to build into each other's lives, to hold each other accountable in our daily walk,andtodevelopdeepfriend- ships that will last."
