Working For You SGA makes changes on campus The Student Government Association had a very busy and successful year. They organized the Homecoming Banquet which was the first of its kind with the Billy and Sarah Gains concert being separate from the meal. They held an open discus- sion forum with students from Antioch and sponsored many fun meals and parties for special events. The Senate passed many resolutions urging the admin- istration to put change machines in the dorms. eliminate specific class computer fees, lengthen lab hours on the weekends,and allow pants to be worn on days when it is degrees Celsius. For the first time, the Senate passed a resolu- tion urging President Clinton to change his position on the abortion issue. And also for the first time, the Student Court heard cases on demeritable offenses. The Executive Committee worked with the administration to help arrange for safety lights to be installed at the track, and the Chaplain's commit- tee, based on the student body vote, arranged for the Student Missionary Project to help Inner City Impact.
