Much experience is gained by those students involved in WSRN. WSRN The Student Run Network of Cedarville WSRN is the radio network of Cedarville College, by the students,for the students. Its mission is to give broadcasting students valuable experience in their field. WSRN provides a service to the student body by airing weekly events like the Bible trivia game"Homerun Run Derby," and Cedarville'sown "Sportsville." WSRN also airs special events like"The Village Radio Theater" and "Dialing for Donuts." On a more serious side,it also airs programslike Dr.Tony Evans'"The Alternative View," the Radio Bible Class'"CampusJournal," and"Sounds of the Times," a look at life on other college campuses. Professor David Drullinger gives spiritual guidance through "Habits of Holiness." The musical variety is adult Christian contemporary. WSRN provides a way for students to gain valuable experience and hands-on training in how a radio station operates. Hands-on practice,as received by Mark Zuiderveen, will definitely help him get a job in the future.
