It is a long way from Butler, Pennsylvania, Bob's birthplace, to Kings College where he met Grace, to Baptist Bible Seminary, to the Philippine Islands under the ABWE Mission Board, and finally to Cedarville College, Cedarville, Ohio. Bob began hisserviceto thecollege as DirectorofPersonnel and as a purchasing agentin 1977. During this time,one of the projects with which he was involved was the revision and updatingofthe staffhandbook. It has been a profitable guide for many years. UpontheretirementofBernice Mickin 1986,Bob became manager ofThe College Bookstore. There have been many improvements and changes under his direction. The most notable wastherenovationin 1990. Itmadethestore more user-friendly bylowering the shelving and redesigning the floorplan to giveanopen,spaciousfeelingandlook. Under Bob's leadership, an expanded line of clothing was dis- played for the interest ofthe student and family members. Alarger area was given to displaying CD'sand cassettes of a variety ofChristian artists. Grace,who was in charge of cards and gift items, as well as pictures, made a commit- ment to carry pictures of excellent quality which would glorify God in the home or office. As Bob and Grace enter this period of life we call retirement, we know they will be active for the Lord wherever Heleads them. Wewish to thankthem for their years of service and commitment to Cedarville College. MayGod continue to bless them both as theyseek to serve Him in their personal ministry for years to come.
