Therecitals serve asafour-yearclimax oftraining at Cedarville. Some seniors were very creative this year with some performing very unique concerts. Steve Weber,senior music major with an emphasisin keyboard pedagogy,invited his own piano students to the recital. After he played piano music from the baroque period to the present,featuring worksfrom Bach,Mozart, Chopinandothers,Webertaughtthestudentswhoattended how to perform a selection ofhis featured works. Rebecca Lakes,senior music performance and musiceducation double major,performedan elegantflute and piccolo recital.Shewasaccom- paniedbyaguitaristandapianistforthe majority ofher recital. Jody Hovis,senior music performance ma- jor,presented a voice recital including art songs andromanticperiod vocalpieces.Shealsosangher own miniopera for this dramatic vocal concert. AnsonHanbury,seniorcommunication arts major,presented aspeechrecitalfeaturing Jekyll & Hyde, an original compilation of material taken from the Robert Louis Stevenson short story, the play, and the Broadway musical, "Jekyll and Hyde." 120 seniors all photos by Huck ..usic majors Scott Shaw,Ben Vawter,Rebecca Lakes,Lea Anne Churgovitch, Sarah Lightly,Steve Weber,Lisa Branon,Jodi Hovis,Erica Chung, Jim Dyer,and Beth Stewart completed their degrees with performances.
