"Wefelt like it was a good seasonforusconsideringthe newplayersweincorporated intothesystem,"mentioned headcoach JeffReep. "It's somethingwecancontinue tobuildon." Junior forward John Krueger averaged 22.4 pointstoleadtheMid-Ohio ConferenceandtheNAIADi- vision I Great Lakes Section. He has piled up 1,778 career pointsduringhisfirstthreesea- sons and ranks ninth on Cedarville'sall-timescoringlist. Krueger was named an NCCAA Second Team All- Americanand wasvotedtothe All-NAIA Division I Great LakesFirstTeam,theAll-MOC First Team, and to the All- NCCAAMidwestRegionFirst Team. He was selected MVP ofthe20th AnnualCedarville Invitational afterscoringaca- reer-high41 pointsin thefinal gameand wasalsoMVPofthe Jackets'ThanksgivingClassic. Mid-Ohio Conference Freshman ofthe YearJesse Deister scored more points (580)thananyYellowJacket rookieinhistory whichcom- puted to an average of 18.1 pointspergame.Hewasone ofthetopfreethrowshooters inthecountryat87.9percent and also paced the squad in field goal accuracy at 55.8 percent.
