Many parentscametothe chapel service Friday to witness theirsons anddaughtersreceiveawardsintheHonors Day chapel. Others streamed in from all overthe country to visit with their students and share in their Cedarville experience. Many students panic at the thought of entertainingtheirfamilyforaweekend,but thecollegeprovidedaplethoraofactivities and concerts for families to enjoy. The spring play,The Heiress,ranfor its second week whilethe oldradio show Onthe Air, ran at the historic Opera House. In-be- tween shows, parents and students could enjoycomplimentaryhotdogs,sandwiches, andhorse-drawncarriagerides. Theweek- end concerts were again thePopsConcert, featuring the Symphonic Band, Chorale, Men's Glee Club, Brass Choir, and Lab Band. Unfortunately,thefirealarmadded a bit of extra percussion to the perfor- mance,yet the audiences still enjoyed the music and ministry ofthe Tunneys. Although showers filled the weekend, periods ofsunshine persisted,which gave parents an accurate perception of Cedarville's weather. Parents' weekend providesaunique opportunityforstudents to share with their families the professors, classes,andfriendstheyhaveatCedarville and the work Christis doing in each ofus.
