Music Groups one The Cedarville University music department offered numerous opportunities for students and many others to see and hear the various music groups perform. These performances came in the forms ofcommunity concerts, chapel presentations, and tours. In beautifully coordinated concerts, combining the various vocal and instrument talent, the music department delivered a wonderful display oftheir musical talent for the community to enjoy along with the student body. Chapel performances offered the music groups a chance to perform for the student body. Men's Glee Club,Concert Chorale, Women's Choir, and Jubilate added their own personal flair to numerous chapels. Symphonic Band participated as This female Jazz Singer uses her talent to praise the Lord. Voice special music for many ofthe formal occasion chapels. Each group brought its own unique flair and an exciting change ofpace to fellow classmates. While all the groups offered opportunities to perform on the Cedarville campus and locally, some also offered their performers a chance to travel. Jubilate, Men's Glee Club,and Women's Choir received the opportunity to share the ministry oftheir music with people outside the state ofOhio. Concert Chorale enjoyed the experience oftouring in China. The music department had the distinctive opportunity of witnessing to many people through the use of music. Using the talents God gave many students, the music groups have excelled in their numerous performances. Activities 143
