taff CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES& DEVELOPMENT DIVISIONS The Christian Ministries Division ofCedarville University held Mark 10:45 as the purpose of their department. They believed service to others and God was an important factor in students' lives. While serving others, students learned to develop the Christ-like attitude described in Mark 10:45. Pastor Bob Rohm,Vice President ofChristian Ministries, stated he hoped that students"no matter their vocation," will be "servants of the living God." Students had the opportunity to serve in many ways. They could find many ministries that suited their talents and interests. Christian Ministries expected service to become a natural part ofstudents' lives, hoping that students would continue serving throughout their lives. Christian Ministry also worked with pastoral counseling and discipleship. As Vice President ofChristian Ministries, Pastor Rohm was also the campus pastor and counselor. Marital counseling was his favorite type ofcounseling. His responsibilities also included running the daily chapel and overseeing the AD7. Christian Ministries found itself very involved with students through their work with ministry groups and counseling. Whether they were helping students prepare for mission trips around the world, working with community ministries, or even counseling a student on campus, the Christian Ministries' staffloved their involvement with students. They wanted to provide students with many service opportunities in order to develop a serving spirit and a passion for being more like Christ and His example ofservice. Pastor Rohm finds the time to step away from the desk and take a shot on the basketball court.
