< Freshman students fill the AC bleachers to attend their class chapels every month. Junior class president Eric Gilmore begins chapel with prayer and announcements. CLASS CHAPEL Students eagerly anticipate class chapels, citing the many advantages these events have. Among these advantages is, of course, the worship. Smaller sizes also allow for a different—more relaxed—atmosphere. Each class enjoys the special time that they have set aside to worship and pray together, bonding and getting to know one another. "Class chapels are great because the smaller size creates a more personable atmosphere for worship,"junior Matthew Krizo said. Junior Rachel Bender agreed: "I like the worship—being able to come together as a class. That doesn't happen often on campus.I've also appreciated the realness of worship this year." Class chaplains this year were senior Joel Estes, junior Stan Mistak, sophomore Michael Clutz, and freshman Lamar King. These men, with their fellow class officers, contributed to the success of class chapels. "I like how they really put a lot of effort into making the worship experience important," sophomore Jason Milich said. Senior class chaplain Joel Estes takes a break from speaking to the class to participate in special music. > < Freshman class chaplain Lamar King shares from the heart, as well as personal experi- ences,as he leads class chapel.
