< Jonathan Farrell and Darth Vader (Chuck McKinney) fight each other in SGA chapel to promote the Star Wars marathon. Robert Wallace and David Wenzel host the New Student Talent show at the Cedarville Opera House. CAB & SGA We don't always see them, but they're around. They run around filming crazy people doing crazy stunts for videos. They sit for hours in their lower level SSC office. They lead Friday chapels. They spend countless hours planning, answering e-mails, taking care ofthe background organizational details that most people don't really consider. What students do see from CAB and SGA,however, they appreciate. "I love SGA,"sophomore Christine Fairchild said."Well,at least that's what it says on my key chain. What was my favorite SGA activity this year? Had to be Homecoming. The Jars ofClay concert was the best concert I've been to at Cedarville." Sophomore Melissa Pinkerton agreed about Homecoming."The carriage rides were awesome!"she said."Even though the weather was awful, and wejust went in a circle, it was lots offun." "The football shirts were hilarious," Jeff Mitchell said."Cedarville champions— yeah." Hannah Hermiz liked the four colors ofSGA t-shirts with random sayings on the backs."They were stupid, butfunny,"she said. "The all-night Star Wars marathon was my favorite SGA-sponsored activity this year,"freshman Darby Jones said."Not many people went,so it wasn't too crowded, and it was the only time I got to see my girlfriend after curfew." These creative people worked hard to bring such events as sEgLaMS(SGA prima- ries and a full-length Elms concert),Homecoming, and an art weekend to campus, providing entertainment and fun for students. Both CAB and SGA were filled with students who loved to create fun for others, while having a good time themselves. They worked together since the end ofthe previous school year, planning events and making sure that plenty ofactivities were put together. Along with the members ofCAB,the SGA team succeeded in planning a year offun activities and opening lines ofcommunication between the student body leaders and the student body. < Students take a break from homework and tests toparticipate in a pumpkin- carving contest.
