Various chapel speakers from all parts of the country challenge Cedarville students through their messages in chapel. > Dr. David Jeremiah encourages students to go through the doors that God opens for them. GUEST CHAPELS From military heroes and world-renowned speakers to staff members and passionate small town preachers, many guests came to the podium to share their hearts in chapel. With styles as varied as their careers, these speakers demonstrated to the students many ways to serve and minister to the world. Students enjoyed this variety of messages. Among many of the memorable speakers was Gracia Burnham,a missionary who was held hostage in the Philippines. She offered a message about being a servant to all and loving her enemies. She also reminded the students to watch what they say because people are always listening. Other speakers including Justice Bob Thomas,Col. Mark Hyatt, and many missionaries also shared heartfelt messages and encouraged the student body to walk with the Lord. Stephanie Hueni,a freshman said,"I appreciated the variety of speakers and the insights they shared about the Christian life." 194 STUDENT LIFE < Todd Entner, a missionary to Beijing, China. challenges the student body to be servants of Christ. Dr. Al Mhor gives Cedarville students truth from the Bible about ways to live for Chirst.>
