2003 Miracle Yearbook

Dr. Dixon entertains students with one of his favorite fishing stories about the bass that now hangs in his office. Dr. Dixon speaks clearly and directly on the issue of discipliship and evangelism. DIXON CHAPELS Students eagerly anticipated the Mondays when Dr. Dixon spoke in chapel. His messages for the year centered on the theme of"For Christ...For Others...For- ever." Throughout the fall semester, he spoke from the book ofPhilippines and encouraged the student body to read it repeatedly. He concentrated on Paul's words in the text and how Paul continually considered eternity in his relationships with those around him. During the spring semester, Dr. Dixon focused on this theme through disciple- ship and evangelism. When he preached, he encouraged and exhorted the student body to live in a manner that promoted Christ and uplifted others, sharing his heart for evangelism numerous times with the student body. - Freshman Jackie Greetham recollected,"I really enjoyed the theme of the year and how Dr.Dixon used it to remind us to prioritize our lives and focus on minis- tering to the lost." Pat Dixon joins her husband on stage to accept an award for their joint service to Cedarville. > < For Christ...For others...Forever" shows Dr. Dixon's passion for witnessing to those around us.
