To the Class of2006, I would like to thank you for allowing me to serve as your president this year. It has been one sweet experience that I have thoroughly enjoyed. Looking back on this year, it's been amazing to see what all has transpired. Before coming to Cedarville, the "meat market" was a place to get fish and chicken, not your future wife, and a White Christmas brought to mind Bing Crosby, not your virginity. These are things we soon learned. One thing that I pray we don't forget about in our freshman year is the work that God did. My one main goal in entering this position was to make it a year focused on God. Having the five officers pray for each one of you was the best way we knew to keep that focus onGod. I am so grateful for the opportunities that I had to sit down and pray or talk with some of you. These opportunities have given me the perspective of how awesome our class is. Even though we are only freshmen, our class has gotten involved in varsity sports, touring teams and other "upperclassmen" events. It's been so cool to see the leadership our class has already taken. I am so excited to see what God is going to do in the next three(or four for some of you)years. Thanks for the encouragement you have been to me. Keep living for the One above! In Christ, Mike Standish FRESHMEN 221
