A Virginia Bishop gets to know the girls in her Bible study while studying the book To Live is Christ. < Small group Bible studies help students learn more about God's Word in an informal setting. CAMPUS MINISTRIES Various ministries across campus offered opportunities for students to grow and mature in Christ. Programs such as the AD7 student pastoral group,Prayer groups, and the Scripture Memory,Accountability and Prayer(M.A.P.)group helped students build strong spiritual relationships with the Lord and each other. The AD 7,or Advisory Seven, led Wednesday and Sunday evening fellowship services on campus. The student body elected seven men to lead them in worship throughout the school year. These men worked with Pastor Rohm to develop their oratorical skills. From a serious focus on being in the presence of God to a reminder that students should have the faith ofa child, every member had a unique focus as he led worship. With similar creativity, these men also presented many Scriptural truths to the student body. Both men and women had the opportunity to become involved in prayer groups. Elijah's Fire served as the main prayer group for men,and Prayer Force was the women's counterpart. These groups sought prayer requests from the campus and developed accountability partners within their groups to pray for the needs ofthe students and faculty. Senior Susan Davis, one of the Prayer Force leaders, stated,"Our goal was to grow in our relationship with Christ by becoming women of prayer. We wanted to make prayer our priority." Elijah's Fire and Prayer Force provided spiritual support and encouragement for all members of the Cedarville family. M.A.P. used similar tools to help each other grow in Christ. This group focused on claiming the promises found in Scripture through memorization. They also used prayer and accountability to strengthen one another in their daily walks with the Lord. The men and women involved with these groups displayed their commitment to Christ and the school through their study of Scripture and dedication to prayer. Philip Kirby plays with the AD 7 band, leading the fellowship services in worship. 224 MINISTRIES
