TOURING TEAMS Cedarville's touring teams gave students opportunities to travel and minister throughout the United States. The traveling teams included two groups of Abun- dant Life singers, the Kingsmen Quartet,two sections of Master's Puppets,and the Lifeline Players. These talented individuals toured from West Virginia to Califor- nia and from Florida to Minnesota. No matter where they traveled,the teams shared the good news of Christ. The music teams assisted churches in worship by leading them in a wide variety ofcontemporary music, hymns and traditional gospel songs along with testimonies, Scripture and congregational singing. The Abundant Life Singers toured the country on weekends,Spring Break,and throughout the summer. Incorporating southern gospel favorites, testimonies and scripture into their presentations, the Kingsmen Quartet also traveled the country,singing in churches and performing in concerts. "Traveling across the country with the Kingsmen was a blessing for me. We saw so many churches and different kinds of people. It was really an enjoyable experience," sophomore Matt McDonald said. The Lifeline Players presented two separate drama programs for teens and adults. They performed at youth rallies, churches,lock-ins and other special programs for churches around the country. During the summer months,they spent eight weeks traveling the United States presenting to dozens ofchurches and organizations. During the school year, the lifeline players spent their weekends touring the Midwest and eastern United States. The Master's Puppet teams ministered to elementary children through puppet performances. Thse two teams presented 45 minute programs based on Bible stories. With songs,games and Bible memory,they creatively taught children Biblical principles."I enjoyed traveling with my team and really learned a lot from the experience. Being on the puppet team was a lot offun," team leader Chad Jackson said. Erica Bossman travels with the Masters Puppets and enjoys hugsfrom the many children she meets. MINISTRIES 227
