SENIOR SPONSORS "The students are why I was here, and I wanted to seize the opportunity to be connected with a class," John Wambold said. For the past four years,John and Dawn Wambold had the opportunity to serve as the class advisors for the Class of 2003. As class advisors, the Wambolds kept the class accountable for their activities, were supportive in their decisions, had opportunities to develop spiritual and personal relationships, and helped keep the class motivated. "The best part about having a class sponsor was having someone to hold us accountable to thejobs that we were supposed to be doing. It was easy for us to get off track with school and other activities. They helped us a lot with that as well asjust being an encourage- ment," Cheryl Elliot, senior class secretary, said. Through his finance degree, Wambold helped with the class' limited budget, especially when planning the Junior/Senior Banquet last year. "[The senior class] did a good job,and the relationships were rewarding," Wambold said."They took pride in their class and were positive about the class."
