2003 Miracle Yearbook

TIME TO REFLECT The senior reception at the home of Dr.and Mrs.Dixon represents a milestone in the lives of many seniors. For four years, they heard about the reception that takes place at the end of their college careers and marks the beginning of their lives as college graduates. Each year, Dr. and Mrs.Dixon invite the entire senior class to their house to celebrate the conclusion of the academic year. This year was especially important to the Dixons,as it was their last opportunity to host the special gathering with their last senior class. Divided into several groups to slow down the traffic on Tobias Road, the seniors spent the afternoon reflecting on their time at Cedarville while chatting with the many friends they had made while students. The Campus Activities Office helped host the event, providing shuttles between the Stevens Student Center and the Dixons' house,as well as offering the seniors many desserts throughout the afternoon. Seniors found memories to be an important aspect of the afternoon as they stood in line to take pictures with the Dixons. The senioraslso took many snapshots of themselves as they mingled with other classmates and talked about their plans after graduation. Each group also took time to talk with the Dixons and friends on the back porch in between the many pictures. As the afternoon came to a close for each groups, the seniors piled back into the many vans and headed back to campus, finding time on the ride back to squeeze in one more conversation about the future while also remembering the many good times they had enjoyed at Cedarville University. 98 SENIORS As their time at Cedarville comes to an end, seniors realize what is important in their lives...friends!
