She commented, "I love just being able to play the game of soccer, but more importantly I love that I am able to play with a group girls who are playing for the same purpose, to worship and glorify God. I love being able to play the sport I love with a bunch of girls I love.The girls on the team truly are what make playing soccer fun both on and off of the field." Division Sophomore Karen Ruhlman takes the ball down the field She commented on the team's spiritual development: "To have that focus [on God] going out on the field dramatically changes everything from how we communicate with each other to how we interact with the referee's, opposing team,and our coaches, as well as the effort and attitude we put forth in our play.
