' Sophomore Maria Harley commented on team goals, saying,"We have a common goal in directing our passion for running toward our greater passion for God, and with how close we became as a team this year, I'd have to say there's no other group of girls that I'd rather run with!" IF Sophomore Brittany Herbst said of the team, "They did a great job of making everyone feel as if they belonged and were needed- no matter how long you had been there, no matter how fast you ran." Freshman Elisabeth Pyles enjoyed the team rela- tionship, saying, "My favorite part of running CU cross country was just being a part of our team. It was great to get to know every girl on the team and to build close relationships." -4 Junior Samantha Maat emphasized the team focus, saying,"My favorite part of the season was being on a team with girls who are all running with the same focus... keeping God #1 and giving it all they have in every race as a sacrifice of worship to Him." Freshman Stacey Keller and Sophomore Leanne Crunelle lead a strong young Lady Jacket team in a race at John Bryan State Park. A Freshman Brittney Simpson enjoyed the national meet, saying, "I was also blessed to be able to run in the NAIA National meet. I think that was one of my favorite races of the season.
