veryone says that living in a dorm is a great experience and one ofthe best times of your life. But what makes dorm life at Cedarville special? From Printy's Unit Wars to Maddox's cookouts and praise and worship times,each dorm has grown closer as a group this year and ultimately, closer to God. "I live in Willetts Central,and I love it!"said sophomore Julie Grollimund."It's wonderful to be surrounded by friends who are only a step away if you need anything." Dorm pride is a big part of residence life.You can barely walk into Chuck's without seeing at least one dorm t-shirt. Most dorms have parties and activities all throughout the year as well as unit or hall activities."My hall has had Bible studies together,fun get-to-know-you nights,and other little activities.We recently received the name of another girl in our hall who is our prayer partner,and that is awesome to have one person who is specifically asking for your prayer needs and actually praying for them,"added Grollimund. Activities this year have varied from Printy Unit Wars and Maddox End ofSummer Cookout to Printy/Willets Art Night and Dorm Tours with U99.5. Each unit, hall or dorm changesfrom year to year; it's the people you're with that make the difference."It's like having fifteen instant friends!"commented freshman Brianna Mottashed on her unit ii1 Printy."Coming into this year it was nerve wracking not knowing who the girls in the unit were and how the unit was going to get along, but it's been great,"added freshman Megan Walter on her experience living in Maddox. From powder puff games to cookouts to late-night random moments,dorm life at Cedarville can't be adequately described in words;you just have to experience it for yourself. A Seniors Candace Smith and Vashti Mensah are all decked outfor their hall's Christmas Open Dorm. • One ofthe perks of living with other girls in a dorm 24/7 is notjust the friendship and support but also the occasional late-nightfoot-rub to ease all that stress. n Sisters and Murphy residents Danielle Randolph & Brittany Randolph enjoy the bonds of sisterhood and dorm life.
