r he 2006-2007 Cedarville Men's Varsity Basketball team had an eventful and exciting year. They had a successful season ending with a 23-8 record and a nationwide placing of 13th in the official NAIA Division II rankings. It was unlike any otherteam I've ever played on because of how close we were." The five graduating seniors this year were Maicol Venter,Tyler Yoder,Guy Rathmell,Eric Leininger, and Josh Greve. Junior Ryan Reep said/'This season was very special to me,and was unlike anyteam I've ever been a part of. For one,I'm grateful to be a part ofa team thatso selflessly cared for each other. This wasdue in a large partto the exceptional leadership ofour seniors. They led by example, showing us how to glorify God through both the wins and more importantly the losses. I really do believe that it was because ofthe unselfish attitude ofeach member ofour team thatthe Lord chose to bless us as He did, allowing us to win the South Division ofthe AMCand advance to the elite eight ofthe national tournament:'All in all, Cedarville not only had a successful year but also built valuable relationships among the players.
