2007 Miracle Yearbook

T he major goal of everyfreshman who comesto college is simply this:to graduate. And that is exactly what this year's Class of2007 did. Along thatjourney to the Big Day, the class took part in their Senior Chapel, one of Cedarville's many traditions and one that every senior class looksforward to each year. This is a time to remember the last four years and look forward to the future with excitement and anticipation. The chapel hour started off in pure fun and jest as some ofthe class members sang a memorable farewell to the underclassmen to the tune of The Sound ofMusic's,"So Long,Farewell!' If that wasn't humorous enough, skits performed took the soon-to-be alumni back to that first year when being at Cedarville was simply brand- new and entirely awkward. As the hour progressed,so did the memories- both good and bad.Memories of scabies, pic-a-dates, picnics, and junior year coupling. The team onstage also brought out whatevery senior had been feeling all year:the anxieties ofan uncertain future. Senior Christina Taylor remembers,"It's hard to squeeze the memories offour years into one chapel, but it was very well done and a comforting reminder ofthe bond I have with my classmates about past memories and future plans." A Erica Cunningham, head of the Senior Class Gift committee, announces the senior class gift: a scholarship worth more than $35,000 in honor of Jonathan Taylor. *Victoria Duff,Jaimie Teekell, Rebecca Wolff, and Ashley Hunter squeal excitedly while performing a skit for senior chapel. 4 Dr. Brown wishes the senior class farewell after a tearful rendition ofthe class song,"It is Well with My Soul." vaso vs 256 -400
