WE'VE HAD NUMEROUS FRESHMEN STEP UP IN CLUTCH CIRCUMSTANCES, AHO THAT POINTS TO A PROMISING FUTURE. OUR PROGRAM IS ONLY GETTING STRONGER." ...JUSTIN HERBERT, SENIOR Freshman T.J. Badertscher closely trails senior Justin Herbert. Herbert, along with fellow athletes Joshua Maughon and Neil Henning, is one of the only three seniors on a team of 33. Junior Kelly Nowels and sophomores Brandon Tress, Kurt Groman, and Sammy Starr demonstrate the bond they've created by playing an active part on the track and field team. With distance running in his blood, freshman Chris Vaughn is sure to pace himself for the long haul. This year's Southeastern Classic results took notice of Vaughn's athleticism, ranking him 44th of 191 overall.
