i~.. Wow! What a ridiculous whirlwind of a year,-A~ as some of it and as chaotic as some of the obstacles ... ith;;·b~~ working on this book, and I have loved every minute of it. Taking on this position definitely seemed like a daunting task . When it was offered to me, I was sure there had to be someone better, but with that said, I've loved the challenges that have been thrown at me and the things I have had the "priviledge" of learning under pressure during long days and late nights in Ambassador! To the 06-07 editors, thank you so much for the opportunity you have given me. Especially as a freshman, I had not even thought about stepping into an editor position let alone becoming this crazy task master. I still really don't know why or how you thought of me, but I appreciate you believing that I could do this... more than I even did. Coming into all this, I definitely didn't know what it all entailed, but I 've enjoyed the frantic organization and energy it takes to conquer every event or obstacle that springs up. You guys were so great to work with, and have created such an amazing act to follow, but I appreciate it everything! Sarah Baczek... oh yah, BROWN! A special thanks must go out to you. I think I have told you on several occasions how estatic I was when I heard you were still gonna be around this year, but I only hope you realize how much of a help and an encouragment you haye been to me! Whether its getting me last minute photos, answering my "HOW DO I DO THIS!?" and "This is PROBABLY EDITOR... ''NOT WHAT WE GIVE, BUT WHAT WE SHARE, FOR THE GIFT WITHOUT THE GIVER IS BARE." _JAMES RUSSELL LOWELL a stupid question..." emails, or just giving honest criticism and encouragment about the book... I thank you. 0 dear Cynthia. .. I must also thank you for seeing an overcommitted, but enthusiastic little freshman and being willing to take a chance on me and to take the time to teach me the ropes of yearbook.Every week I look forward to seeing you Wednesday at 10, well. .. 10:15-ish A.M. :-) I love how you are always ready to go off on crazy tangents with us but can always help us figure out what needs to get done as well. Oh ... and where is our COUCH!? Dave, So let's just be honest, there is no way this book would be here if it wasn't for you. And I don't mean, like the book just wouldn't be this amazingly snazzy or something like that. .. but I mean I would still be sitting in the office trying to figure out why InDesign randomly switched from picas to inches or how to submit the stupid pages! I hope you realize how creative you are, and with all of the ingenious details you created, I can only hope people pick up on and appreciate them! Thank you so much for doing so much beyond your job description too! Everytime I needed help with something, or there was an extra detail like sending out mail or getting DVD's whatever... you were on it, and you are AMAZING!! Dennis... I am SO gonna miss you. I mean, who is gonna chill in the office in their PJs and sing " Bleeding Love" and "Please Don't Stop the Music" with me? And really... who is gonna discuss the news from ANTM and America's Best Dance Crew with me when we have SO much other work to do? Haha, but really Dennis, I truly appreciate your ability to make everything fun. No matter what I threw at you to do, or how I changed stuff on you, you always managed to make it happen. (Or one of your 500 staffers did!) Thanks for having stuff organized for me... even those random Superbowl Party and Sophomore Breakfast stories that I still have no idea why you assigned them! Josh GIG-liotti , thank you so much for always being ~lexible. Everytime I sent an email your way making sure we had photographers at a last minute event, or asking you to find me pictures from something specific, you were on it... and with such a positive attitude. Thanks so much for being so organized and leading such a great staff! You are a crazy cool kid, tennis ball and all and I am so thankful to have you around again next year! But one last thing... honestly, where is the air freshener? Rebecca/Becca/Becky... I am so thankful for you! Your contribution to this book is so underrated but so essential and SOOO appreciated! There is so much that wouldn't get accomplished if it wasn' t for your behind the scenes work. Everytime I ask you for or about something and it's already done, you seriously make my day. You take so much stress off me because I can be sure that you are on top of it and what needs done will get done, and be done well. I am so glad we have you and I am looking forward to hopefully 2 more fun-filled years with you! Can I just ask that we stay stocked up on turtle chex mix though? For some reason, it keeps going missing! To all those who replied to my frantic emails needing quotes and pictures... thank you! For those of you who didn't. .. pshhhh ... :-) Thanks to Rachel and Ruth for excusing my occasional late nights in the office, to my Fab 4 for just being fab and my "12 disciples" for keeping life exciting :-) Chelsea, thank you especially for being my biggest cheerleader this year through EVERYTHING! You selflessness and encouragement constantly blows me away and I love you for it. I apologize for not having room to thank everyone who mean so much to me. You know who you are, I love and appreciate you all and I apologize if I don ' t verbalize that enough!
